Career-woman, mother, housewife… and blogger!
I am a mother and housewife living in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. I spent many years working as a college lecturer,a teacher and a business executive. I’m retired now with my husband and spend the days keeping myself busy with my hobbies and emailing and chatting with my two grown-up sons. My eldest lives in New York and the younger one is much closer to home, in Chennai.
I have thought for many years about putting my cooking experience to use and what better way than to maintain a blog about traditional Tamil food! It is a great way to pass the time while helping to preserve the culture and knowledge that my mother taught me, and what her mother taught her.
If anyone learns to make some Tamil Nadu foods from here, then that is more than I could ask for. With the help of my sons who helped me set up this blog, I am going on my blogging voyage!
